Vehicle Description 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner - Real RM21 Post Coupe (Dragracer Favorite) with 440 EFI.
I purchased this car in 2013 without a motor, transmission or finder tag.
This Roadrunner has been in the Tidewater Virginia area all of its life.
It had been off of the road and stored inside since 1990.
I rebuilt this Roadrunner as a Pro Touring car with an old school look, but with some subtle changes.
The complete restoration took me approximately 5 years to complete.
The body and other parts were stripped to bare metal and primed with epoxy primer.
The underside has the factory undercoating was in good shape so I left it as is.
The lower rear quarters, trunk pan and lower rear window corners were replaced with new metal (standard Mopar issue).
The Roadrunner has all new interior and exterior seals.
The Roadrunner was a bench seat and column shift car, so I replace both with the correct floor shift steering column (one year only) and the correct bucket seats (70-71 ) including new seat slides.
All of the upholstery is brand new, including seat foam.
I also added a new-styled three-point seat belt system in the front and back seats.
The bumper, vent widow frames and other trim parts have been rechromed.
I have driven this Roadrunner to shows in Carlisle, PA a few times and to Richard Petty's Garage in North Carolina.
It was built to travel with its 440 EFI, rebuilt 727 trans, Gear Vender overdrive unit and new Dana 60 3.
73 rear end.
I built this Roadrunner to keep forever, but I have learned that life takes you in different directions.
This bird needs to fly and be owned by someone who loves road trips and showing it off.
I have compiled a list below of specifications.
Please email with any additional questions and/or include your phone number.
I am always happy to talk about the car.
No Trades.
Will not ship out of United States.
