Vice President / Administrator

Summary Under a combination of administrative and executive direction, the Vice President/Administrator provides leadership and directs the overall operation of the hospital consistent with policies and objectives of the hospital and its advisory or governing Board. In this regard, this position plans, organizes, applies, directs, controls and evaluates all resources supporting the operations of the facility, using all resources to generate measurable returns to benefit Riverside Health System, the Community, the Physician and most of all, the Patient. The Vice President/Administrator isresponsible to the Health System COO/CMO.  The position functions as an executive for the organization and must be highly skilled in building relationships with medical staff, community members and hospital staff. The highestdegree of integrity and commitment to the Health System's Mission and Commitments arerequired. Serves as senior mentor to leadership team and works to develop self and directreports.   Responsibilities Develops and Executes Strategy by: Developing a long range course of action or set of goals to ensure successful realization of the organization's vision. Ensuring the development of clear goals that align a unit's efforts with the organization's vision and strategic plan. Ensuring synergies between people, processes, and strategies to drive execution of business objectives. Building and driving sustained revenue growth. Building strategic alliances both inside and outside the organization to create business opportunities and execute business strategies. Develops Talent By: Building a competitively superior organization through attracting, developing, and retaining talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivations are in the right place at the right time to meet business needs. Aware of key Riverside businesses within market and supports their success through positive relationships and supporting business growth Performing other duties as assigned.   Riverside Walter Reed Hospital is a 67-bed acute care facility located in Gloucester, Virginia. With 24-hour emergency services, a 12,000 square foot Intensive Care Unit, a complete range of outpatient services, a highly professional, caring staff and more than 50 outstanding area physicians, Riverside Walter Reed provides comprehensive health care services to the communities of the Middle Peninsula. The Middle Peninsula is bordered on the south by the York River and the lower Chesapeake Bay on the east. Gloucester is a growing and increasingly changing county that is an integral part of the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. Growth in the Peninsula area has encouraged development in the Gloucester Point and the Courthouse regions of Gloucester. Qualifications Education & Experience Master's degree hospital administration, business or a related field  required. 2+ years of experience in a COO or CEO role required, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience such as MHA plus hospital administration residency and leadership experience.  Licenses, Certifications, & Training Member of ACHE. ACHE fellowpreferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: Advanced skills in financial management required. Current knowledge of Joint Commission/DNV, state, and federal guidelines, regulations and standards. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, coaching, and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of the microenvironment variables that can impact the strategic management process (e.g., buyer switching costs, concentration of customers, competitor business strategies) required. Skill in creating a strong personal presence that commands attention and respect in groups required. Willingness to focus on employee development through exposure, experiences, and feedback required. 2018-13198

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
